We ❤ Bimbo MILFs & GILFs

“And the beauty of a woman, with passing years only grows!”

Audrey Hepburn

As we age, we gain experience, knowledge, skills, and maturity. However, I can't help but notice a dismal reality for women as we pass our 20s and 30s. It kind of feels like we're punished by society for our changing bodies and maturing minds, especially in the "bimbo" and "sugar baby" communities where creepy old men prey so strongly on the "barely legal" bimbos while boldly exclaiming their distaste for women their own age. This is whether older women choose to age naturally, or "cling onto their youth" by keeping up with beauty trends or getting cosmetic enhancements. When women allow their hair to turn grey and their wrinkles to settle, they're accused of "letting themselves go" or "passing their prime", whereas women who try to fight their age with Botox and blonde hair are accused of suffering a midlife crisis or looking unnatural. There's nothing we can do as women to avoid backlash, so let's just live a sexy, fulfilled life and age in the ways that make us feel good when we look in the mirror.

My goal with this post is to celebrate all the inspiring and glamorous women who have paved the way for the Bimbo movement and continue to set an example for us as we transition to different life stages. These women show us that you're only as old as your feel, and that bimbofication is for baddies of any age (18+ though, duh).

Also, here's something to think about:

The characters in The Golden Girls were the same age as the characters in the Sex and the City reboot. The way women look, dress, and exist in their 40s, 50s, and 60s is evolving with each generation. Women in that age range are being seen as exciting humans with sex lives and juicy drama and not just cute old ladies who wear frumpy mumu's and go to bed at 9pm.

“I love getting older! I really believe that a woman doesn’t reach her peak until her 40s.”

“There is a fountain of youth: it is your mind, your talents, the creativity you bring to your life and the lives of people you love. When you learn to tap this source, you will truly have defeated age.”

Sophia Loren

Discussion:

What's your favorite thing about getting older?

Do you believe we "peak" at a certain age, or do we experience multiple peaks throughout our lifetime?

What older women do you look up to, either in your personal life or in the media?

Do you believe in "dressing your age"?

  • 0%No, you're never too old to be a sexy bitch

  • 0%Yes, older people should dress modestly
